A passion for creating and making has always been a part of who I am, this was developed further when I studied Art at Cardiff and focused on mixed materials especially  metals and ceramics with explorations into colour with glazes and enamels.  I have been very fortunate to have spent over 30 years teaching DT in secondary schools trying to inspire others. A chance encounter with the new material silver metal clay reignited my creative soul and the urge to create jewellery was rekindled.

A feast for my inner creative surrounds me every day in the form of pattern, colour, texture and shape. My simple daily walk with Bertie (my miniature schnauzer) or visiting new places can be the starting point of something new.
